What does it mean to be Press Ready?
Sarah Platanitis is a lifestyle journalist and media educator focused on press relations for artists. In this workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of press vs. public relations and how to work more effectively with journalists. Participants will focus on best practices for writing press releases, organizing media kits and websites, being more comfortable during interviews, and how to present newsworthy content to appropriate media outlets.

Workshops take place at your location or through creative organizations, like Assets for Artists and Easthampton City Arts+. Each session delivers useful and practical topics that are motivating for beginners and energizing for those at intermediate or advanced levels.
